The E³ International Spring School 2027, themed “Advanced Materials, Devices, and Heterogeneously Integrated Architectures for Next-Generation Energy-Efficient Electronics,” will be held from 26 to 30 April 2027 in Autrans, France. The international programme will offer participants an opportunity to delve into the rapidly evolving world of semiconductor technologies and interact with researchers and experts from leading semiconductor countries. Researchers, PhD scholars and industry professionals will participate in advanced lectures and scientific exchanges with experts from academia and industry, providing opportunities to broaden technical knowledge and build international research networks.
AttoSwitch (www.attoswitch.eu), via the IUNET Consortium (www.iunet.info), is a key supporter and co-organizer of the initiative. We will contribute perspectives on Dirac materials for electronics and their potential in advancing nanoelectronics toward and beyond the end of the current IRDS roadmap.
The programme, developed in collaboration with the EU project INPACE (inpacehub.eu), and European pilot lines, will focus on novel materials; advanced logic and memory devices; new computing architectures; energy-efficient smart power and smart sensing components; and heterogeneous 3D integration and advanced packaging for future electronic systems. Talks will be delivered by representatives from leading universities, research institutes and companies across Europe and Asia, offering participants exposure to diverse perspectives on emerging semiconductor technologies and their applications in next-generation electronic systems.
The spring school is expected to provide a valuable platform for scientific interaction, knowledge exchange and international collaboration. Interested individuals are requested to follow the page https://sinano.eu/e3-international-spring-school/ for details and updates.
